Dr. Rafael Enrique Vásquez Córdova is a medical specialist in General Surgery and Oncological Surgery, with extensive experience in treating cancers in different locations. Throughout his career, he has provided specialized care in diagnosis, prevention, treatment, follow-up, second opinions, and palliative care in cancer cases, particularly in areas such as breast cancer, gynecological cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, urological cancer, head and neck cancer, among others.

Higher Education:

Doctor in Medicine: Graduated with honors from the University of El Salvador.

Specialization in General Surgery: Graduated with honors from the University of El Salvador and the ISSS.

Specialization in Oncological Surgery: Graduated with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the National Institute of Cancerology of Mexico (INCan).

Specialization in Thoracic Oncological Surgery: National Institute of Cancerology of Mexico (INCan).

MD. Vásquez Córdova has an outstanding career in oncological surgery, having worked in important healthcare centers and hospitals in both El Salvador and Mexico, where he has gained significant experience in the surgical treatment of various types of cancer. His areas of specialization include:

Breast Cancer: Breast-conserving surgery and radical surgery.

Gynecological Cancer: Open and laparoscopic surgery for cervical, endometrial, ovarian, vulvar, and vaginal cancer.

Gastrointestinal Cancer: Open and laparoscopic surgery for esophageal, stomach, small intestine, colon, and rectal cancer.

Liver, Pancreatic, and Biliary Cancer.

Urological Cancer: Open and laparoscopic surgery for kidney, prostate, bladder, and testicular cancer.
